registration, documentation and advertising
• Limit use of paper as much as possible.
• Put up a display boards instead of handing out a schedule to each participant.
• If printing is needed, use non-glazed paper made out of recycled fibres, with vegetable-based ink, according to FSC standard; re-use paper printed only one side to re-print on the other; reduce font size as much as possible; evaluate whether colour printing is really necessary.
• Emphasize on electronic registration and exchange.

• Use paper with high recycled fibre content (30% and more).

• During the event, hire students and/or young people looking for employment in order to allow them to gain experience.
• Have local environmental and community groups as well as non-profit organizations participate in the event to benefit from their experience.
• Look into renting or sharing certain products during the event instead of buying them.
• Promote buying eco-friendly and eco-responsible local and regional products.
• Think about the product’s origin and source: fair trade, if possible.
